solargraphy
Today is the longest day, so we took down the two pinhole cameras which have been fixed to the walls outside - one at my house (pointing south) and the other at my parents house (pointing East). They've been outside since the shortest day - six months ago. Now I'm posting them back to Tarja at the university in Finland to see if any of them have worked!
Lynn did one last year in NZ. Her cameras worked, you can see the results here:

Sorry to be pedantic, but isn't today the longest day? My pinhole cameras have been open for about 3 months now so I'm leaving them for another 3.
Ha Ha! Yes,
I wrote shotest day twice.......now corrected! Thanks Sheila!
Great....your doing a solar camera thing too. How are you managing to keep your hens away from it?
Joanne
Let us know when the results come on the webpage - will be so interesting to compare them! Now, why didn't we think of making 84 pinhole cameras each - line them up - and bringing in one each day and develop it as our log book photo. NEXT TIME! LOL.
